In Hindu culture feeding another with your hands is a sign of respect and love. Feeding Hands is a project that mimics this by creating biodegradable hands and leaving them in nature for people to put food and give animals something to eat. Currently in Washington Square Park.

Finished version
The final design was a hand carved from wood, thoughtfully crafted to be easily attached to smaller trees—either by slipping it into a natural notch or securing it with a built-in handle.
